Luna X ("we," "us," or "our") provides an AI-powered social media scheduling and publishing tool. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Luna X at lunaxmedia.com (the "Service"), you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in through a third-party provider (such as Google), we receive your basic profile information and email address from that provider.
Social media account data
When you connect a social media account (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, or LinkedIn), we receive access tokens and basic account details (such as your account name, page name, and account IDs) needed to publish and schedule content on your behalf. We store these tokens securely and use them only to perform actions you request.
Content you provide
We process the captions, images, videos, and scheduling instructions you create or upload so we can publish them to your connected accounts and generate AI-assisted captions at your direction.
Usage data
We collect limited technical information such as log data, device and browser type, and timestamps to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
How We Use Google User Data
Luna X's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
When you connect your YouTube or Google account, we request only the permissions necessary to provide the Service. Specifically, we use Google and YouTube data to:
- Authenticate you and identify the channel or account you authorize.
- Upload, schedule, and publish the videos and posts you explicitly create within Luna X.
- Display basic performance information (such as views or engagement) for content you publish through Luna X.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, sell it, or transfer it to third parties except as required to provide the Service or comply with the law. We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine-learning models. You can revoke Luna X's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions page.
AI Processing
Luna X uses third-party AI services to generate captions and content suggestions at your request. When you ask Luna X to write or analyze content, the relevant text you provide is sent to our AI provider solely to produce that result. This content is not used to train the AI provider's models.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, storage, email delivery, payment processing, AI generation, and transcription), under contracts that limit their use of your data.
- The social platforms you connect, in order to publish the content you schedule.
- Legal authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights and users.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data and revoke stored social tokens within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.
Your Choices and Rights
- Disconnect any social account at any time from your Luna X settings.
- Revoke Google/YouTube access through your Google Account permissions page.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
- Delete your account, which removes your stored data as described above.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and secure token storage to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and respond promptly to any issues.
Children's Privacy
Luna X is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
